Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Maxwell Wildcats (Maxwell, NE) and the host Anselmo-Merna Coyotes (Merna, NE), saw Maxwell's volleyball squad notch a victory over Anselmo-Merna by a score of 2-0.

With the win, Maxwell improves its record to 3-1 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Brady (Brady, NE) to encounter the Eagles in a non-league battle on Thursday, September 4. The Eagles enter the contest with a record of 0-0.

Next, the Coyotes battle the Mullen Broncos (Mullen, NE) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, September 2. Anselmo-Merna will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record. The Broncos enter the contest with a 1-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Sandhills Valley (Stapleton, NE).
