Texas High School Volleyball - Bastrop can't get by Seguin

The Seguin Matadors edged the visiting Bastrop Bears volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league outing.

The Matadors now possess a 16-14 record. They play next when they host Gregory-Portland for a non-league outing on Saturday, August 30. Seguin will play a Wildcats team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Southside (San Antonio, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 14-11.

With the loss, Bastrop drops to 17-9 on the campaign. The Bears host Lockhart (Lockhart, TX) to confront the Lions in a non-league game on Friday, September 5. The Lions enter the game with a record of 4-16.
