Texas High School Volleyball - Brownfield can't hold off Ropes

In Saturday's non-league match, the Ropes Eagles (Ropesville, TX) volleyball squad tipped the visiting Brownfield Cubs (Brownfield, TX), by a count of 2-1.

Next up, the Eagles battle the Southcrest Christian (Lubbock, TX) in a non-league match, on Saturday, August 30. Ropes will attempt to move on its 15-7 season record. The enter the match with a 1-2 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Friona (Friona, TX).

The Cubs (3-10) will now prepare for their match against Levelland (Levelland, TX). The Lobos enter the non-league match with a 5-10 record. In their last bout, Levelland nipped Pecos (Pecos, TX), 2-0, in a non-league bout.
