Texas High School Volleyball - Burton over Weimar

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Burton Panthers (Burton, TX) and the host Weimar Wildcats (Weimar, TX), observed Burton's volleyball team top Weimar by a count of 2-0.

The Panthers (22-7) will now prepare for their battle against Iola (Iola, TX). The Bulldogs go into the non-league battle with a 13-3 record. In their last battle, Iola achieved victory over Burton (Burton, TX), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

The Wildcats now own a 10-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sacred Heart for a non-league contest on Tuesday, September 2. Weimar will battle a Indians team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Fayetteville (Fayetteville, TX). The Indians record now stands at 10-14.
