The Butternut Midgets prevailed the host Mellen Granite Diggers volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league game.

Next up, the Midgets confront the Phelps Knights (Phelps, WI) in a non-league game, on Saturday, August 30. Butternut will attempt to better on its 5-5 season record. The Knights come into the outing with a 1-4 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Menominee Indian (Keshena, WI).
