In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting China Spring Cougars volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Odessa Bronchos.

The Cougars (15-9) will now prepare for their challenge against McGregor (McGregor, TX). The Bulldogs enter the non-league challenge with a 6-7 record. In their last challenge, McGregor was beaten by Lorena (Lorena, TX), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Bronchos meet the Alpine Bucks (Alpine, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 2. Odessa will attempt to upgrade on its 9-12 season record. The Bucks come into the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Frenship Memorial (Lubbock, TX).
