The Jarrell Cougars volleyball squad scored 2 points and held the host D'Hanis Cowboys to 0 in the Cougars non-league win on Saturday.
Next up, the Cougars confront the La Grange Leopards (La Grange, TX) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, September 2. Jarrell will attempt to advance on its 5-20 season record. The Leopards go into the game with a 15-11 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to St. Paul (Shiner, TX).
The Cowboys (1-7) will now prepare for their outing against Jourdanton (Jourdanton, TX). The Indians/Squaws come into the non-league outing with a 8-6 record. In their last outing, Jourdanton defeated Bandera (Bandera, TX), 3-0, in a non-league outing.
