Texas High School Volleyball - Donna tips Harlingen South

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Donna Redskins (Donna, TX) and the host Harlingen South Hawks (Harlingen, TX), observed Donna's volleyball team hold off Harlingen South by a count of 2-1.

The Redskins (12-7) will now prepare for their battle against Donna North (Donna, TX). The Chiefs go into the 5A Region IV District 32 battle with a 2-17 record. In their last battle, Donna North was edged by Grulla (Rio Grande City, TX), 2-1, in a non-league battle.

The Hawks now own a 1-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Weslaco East for a 5A Region IV District 32 battle on Tuesday, September 2.
