In Saturday's non-league test, the host Pontiac Indians volleyball squad scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Dwight Trojans.
The Indians (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Tri-Point (Cullom, IL). The Chargers go into the non-league test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Tri-Point nudged Iroquois West (Gilman, IL), 2-0, in a non-league test.
The Trojans now sport a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Woodland for a non-league test on Saturday, August 30. Dwight will face a Warriors squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Marquette (Ottawa, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 0-3.
