The Bruins (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Heritage (Monroeville, IN). The Patriots go into the non-league battle with a 5-2 record. In their last battle, Heritage tipped Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran (Fort Wayne, IN), 3-2, in a non-league battle.

The Giants now own a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northridge for a non-league battle on Saturday, August 30. Marion will encounter a Raiders squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over South Bend Saint Joseph (South Bend, IN). The Raiders record now stands at 6-1.
