Kentucky High School Volleyball - Metcalfe County winner over Foundation Christian Academy

Metcalfe County Hornets (Edmonton, KY) backers were pleased Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Foundation Christian Academy Falcons (Bowling Green, KY), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Hornets (9-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Monroe County (Tompkinsville, KY). The Falcons come into the District 16 challenge with a 3-0 record. In their last challenge, Monroe County beat Glasgow (Glasgow, KY), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

The Falcons now sport a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Monroe County for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 2. Foundation Christian Academy will face a Falcons squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Metcalfe County (Edmonton, KY). The Falcons record now stands at 5-1.
