In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Segerstrom Jaguars volleyball team scored a close 1-0 victory over the Garden Grove Argonauts.

The Jaguars (5-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Portola (Irvine, CA). The Bulldogs enter the non-league challenge with a 5-3 record. In their last challenge, Portola was tipped by Capistrano Valley (Mission Viejo, CA), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Argonauts meet the Tustin Tillers (Tustin, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 30. Garden Grove will attempt to upgrade on its 3-12 season record. The Tillers go into the test with a 5-7 record after their 3-1 league win over Kennedy (La Palma, CA).
