The Roland-Story Norsemen topped the host Gilbert Tigers volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league game.

Next up, the Norsemen confront the Saydel Eagles (Des Moines, IA) in a Heart of Iowa game, on Tuesday, September 2. Roland-Story will attempt to advance on its 3-0 season record.

The Tigers (3-3) will now prepare for their game against Bondurant-Farrar (Bondurant, IA). The Bluejays go into the Raccoon River game with a 4-5 record. In their last game, Bondurant-Farrar gained a win over Ames (Ames, IA), 2-0, in a non-league outing.
