Texas High School Volleyball - Texas over Gilmer

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Texas Tigers (Texarkana, TX) and the visiting Gilmer Buckeyes (Gilmer, TX), observed Texas's volleyball team top Gilmer by a count of 2-0.

The Tigers (9-11) will now prepare for their battle against Madisonville (Madisonville, TX). The Mustangs go into the non-league battle with a 19-5 record. In their last battle, Madisonville achieved victory over Central Heights (Nacogdoches, TX), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

The Buckeyes now own a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host White Oak for a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 2. Gilmer will encounter a Roughnecks squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Madisonville (Madisonville, TX). The Roughnecks record now stands at 12-11.
