In Saturday's league match, the Green County Dragons (Greensburg, KY) volleyball squad tipped the host Larue County Hawks (Hodgenville, KY), by a count of 2-1.

Next up, the Dragons battle the Hart County Raiders (Munfordville, KY) in a District 18 bout, on Tuesday, September 2. Green County will attempt to better on its 5-7 season record. The Raiders come into the bout with a 3-3 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Cumberland County (Burkesville, KY).

With the loss, Larue County drops to 4-7 on the campaign. The Hawks host Thomas Nelson (Bardstown, KY) to clash with the Generals in a non-league contest on Wednesday, September 3. The Generals enter the contest with a record of 1-3.
