The North Eagles edged the host Hampton County Hurricanes volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league game.

Next up, the Eagles face the C.A. Johnson Hornets (Columbia, SC) in a non-league game, on Saturday, August 30. North will attempt to advance on its 1-3 season record. The Hornets go into the game with a 4-0 record after their 3-0 league win over Lee Central (Bishopville, SC).

With the loss, Hampton County drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Hurricanes host Edisto (Cordova, SC) to play the Cougars in a AA Region 5 outing on Tuesday, September 9. The Cougars come into the outing with a record of 3-2. Edisto won 3-2 in their recent non-league game against Bethune-Bowman (Orangeburg, SC)
