Texas High School Volleyball - Harlingen tips San Benito

August 30, 2025: Harlingen, TX 78550

The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Harlingen Cardinals (Harlingen, TX) and the visiting San Benito Greyhounds (San Benito, TX), saw Harlingen's volleyball squad nudge San Benito by a score of 2-1.

With the victory, Harlingen upgrades its record to 7-7 on the year. The Cardinals travel to St. Joseph Academy (Brownsville, TX) to meet the Bloodhounds in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 2. The Bloodhounds enter the challenge with a record of 2-2. St. Joseph Academy lost 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Jones (Beeville, TX)

Next, the Greyhounds meet the Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Bears (San Juan, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 2. San Benito will attempt to upgrade on its 11-9 season record. The Bears enter the test with a 15-8 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Rowe (McAllen, TX).
