In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Monmouth-Roseville Titans volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Knoxville Blue Bullets.

With the win, Monmouth-Roseville improves its record to 3-3 on the season. The Titans travel to Wethersfield (Kewanee, IL) to face the Flying Geese in a non-league test on Saturday, August 30. The Flying Geese go into the test with a record of 3-0. Wethersfield won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Alleman (Rock Island, IL)

The Blue Bullets now own a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bushnell-Prairie City for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 2. Knoxville will face a Spartans squad coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Midwest Central (Manito, IL). The Spartans record now stands at 0-2.
