In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Lexington Golden Bears volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Meek Tigers.
The Golden Bears (6-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Meek (Arley, AL). The Tigers enter the non-league challenge with a 3-4 record. In their last challenge, Meek achieved victory over Sumiton Christian (Sumiton, AL), 3-1, in a non-league test.
The Tigers now own a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lexington for a non-league test on Saturday, August 30. Meek will face a Golden Bears squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to East Lawrence (Trinity, AL). The Golden Bears record now stands at 1-9.
