In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Bears volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Los Fresnos Falcons.

The Bears (15-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Rowe (McAllen, TX). The Warriors come into the non-league challenge with a 9-5 record. In their last challenge, Rowe beat Laredo LBJ (Laredo, TX), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Falcons play the Weslaco Panthers (Weslaco, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 2. Los Fresnos will attempt to upgrade on its 10-8 season record. The Panthers go into the game with a 12-12 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Vela (Edinburg, TX).
