The McIntosh Tigers edged the visiting McLaughlin Mustangs volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league outing.
The Tigers now have a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Sully Buttes for a non-league outing on Saturday, August 30. McIntosh will play a Chargers team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Jones County (Murdo, SD). The Chargers record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, McLaughlin drops to 1-3 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Dupree (Dupree, SD) to confront the Tigers in a B Region 8 game on Tuesday, September 2. The Tigers go into the game with a record of 0-1. Dupree lost 3-0 in their recent non-league game against New Underwood (New Underwood, SD)
