Meek Tigers (Arley, AL) backers were pleased Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team tip the host Vinemont Eagles (Vinemont, AL), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Tigers (7-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Decatur Heritage Christian Academy (Decatur, AL). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record.

Next up, the Eagles face the Lexington Golden Bears (Lexington, AL) in a non-league game, on Saturday, August 30. Vinemont will attempt to advance on its 12-5 season record. The Golden Bears go into the game with a 1-9 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to East Lawrence (Trinity, AL).
