The Newell-Fonda Mustangs volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Spencer Tigers to 0 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Mustangs now have a 4-2 record. They play next when they travel to Alta-Aurelia for a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 2. Newell-Fonda will play a Warriors team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Sheldon (Sheldon, IA). The Warriors record now stands at 0-6.

The Tigers (1-3) will now prepare for their game against Audubon (Audubon, IA). The Wheelers go into the non-league game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Audubon gained a win over Panorama (Panora, IA), 2-1, in a non-league game.
