California High School Volleyball - Otay Ranch tips University City

August 30, 2025: San Diego, CA 92122

The Otay Ranch Mustangs volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host University City Centurions to 1 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Mustangs now have a 5-1 record. They play next when they host Academy of Our Lady of Peace for a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 2. Otay Ranch will play a Pilots team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Granite Hills (El Cajon, CA). The Pilots record now stands at 5-1.

With the loss, University City drops to 9-6 on the campaign. The Centurions host Del Norte (San Diego, CA) to confront the Nighthawks in a non-league game on Tuesday, September 2. The Nighthawks go into the game with a record of 2-3. Del Norte won 3-1 in their recent non-league game against San Dieguito Academy (Encinitas, CA)
