In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Port Washington Pirates volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Waukesha North Northstars.

The Pirates (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against West Bend West (West Bend, WI). The Spartans come into the Glacier Trails challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, West Bend West beat Brookfield Central (Brookfield, WI), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Northstars meet the Waukesha South Blackshirts (Waukesha, WI) in a Woodland - West challenge, on Thursday, September 4. Waukesha North will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Blackshirts go into the test with a 0-1 record after their 3-0 league loss to Pius XI Catholic (Milwaukee, WI).
