West Virginia High School Volleyball - Ripley can't get by St. Albans

August 30, 2025: St. Albans, WV 25177

St. Albans Red Dragons (St. Albans, WV) followers left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Ripley Vikings (Ripley, WV), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, St. Albans advances its record to 6-1 on the season. The Red Dragons travel to Wayne (Wayne, WV) to face the Pioneers in a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 2. The Pioneers come into the outing with a record of 0-3. Wayne lost 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against Poca (Poca, WV)

With the loss, Ripley drops to 4-2 on the campaign. The Vikings host Point Pleasant (Point Pleasant, WV) to play the Big Blacks in a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 2. The Big Blacks come into the outing with a record of 3-4. Point Pleasant 1-1 in their recent non-league outing against Poca (Poca, WV)
