Spirit Lake Indians (Spirit Lake, IA) backers were pleased Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team tip the visiting Spencer Tigers (Spencer, IA), 2-1 in a league challenge.

The Indians (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Rock Valley (Rock Valley, IA). The Rockets come into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Rock Valley was nudged by Sioux Center (Sioux Center, IA), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Tigers meet the South Hamilton Hawks (Jewell, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 6. Spencer will attempt to upgrade on its 3-8 season record. The Hawks come into the challenge with a 5-5 record after their 2-1 non-league win over North Butler (Greene, IA).
