In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Trinity Blazers volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the St. Edward Green Wave.
The Blazers (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Timothy Christian (Elmhurst, IL). The Trojans enter the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Timothy Christian beat Montini Catholic (Lombard, IL), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Green Wave meet the Latin Romans (Chicago, IL) in a non-league test, on Saturday, August 30. St. Edward will attempt to improve on its 1-7 season record. The Romans go into the test with a 2-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Amundsen (Chicago, IL).
