Valor Preparatory Academy Knights (Waco, TX) backers were pleased Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Vanguard College Prep Vikings (Waco, TX), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Knights (16-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Bruceville-Eddy (Eddy, TX). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 4-8 record. In their last challenge, Bruceville-Eddy was beaten by Hamilton (Hamilton, TX), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Vikings meet the Central Texas Christian Lions (Temple, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 2. Vanguard College Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 1-9 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 18-1 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Texas Lions Academy (Austin, TX).
