Next, the Tigers confront the Clinton Dark Horses (Clinton, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 1. James Kenan will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Dark Horses enter the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Heide Trask (Rocky Point, NC).
The Patriots now possess a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Dixon for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, September 7. Pender will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Topsail (Hampstead, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-1.
