The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the St. Stephens Indians (Hickory, NC) and the visiting East Lincoln Mustangs (Denver, NC), saw St. Stephens's volleyball squad beat East Lincoln by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, St. Stephens upgrades its record to 5-3 on the year. The Indians host South Caldwell (Hudson, NC) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Thursday, September 1. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 5-3. South Caldwell won 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against McDowell (Marion, NC)

The Mustangs now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to North Iredell for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 6.
