Avon Braves (Avon, NY) supporters were pleased Wednesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Bloomfield Bombers (Bloomfield, NY), 9-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Braves confront the Warsaw Tigers (Warsaw, NY) in a Livingston - Division II challenge, on Saturday, September 3. Avon will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record.
The Bombers now possess a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Naples for a Finger Lakes - West challenge on Tuesday, September 6.
