Dacula Falcons (Dacula, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Mountain View Bears (Lawrenceville, GA), 8-7 in a league challenge.

The Falcons now own a 10-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mill Creek for a 7A Region 8 challenge on Thursday, September 1. Dacula will battle a Hawks squad coming off a 11-6 league loss to Buford (Buford, GA). The Hawks record now stands at 8-4.

With the loss, Mountain View falls to 6-5 on the campaign. The Bears host Collins Hill (Suwanee, GA) to battle the Eagles in a 7A Region 8 challenge on Thursday, September 1. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 5-5. Collins Hill lost 6-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Seckinger (Buford, GA)
