North Carolina High School Volleyball - East Rowan over Carson

August 31, 2022: Salisbury, NC 28146

The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the East Rowan Mustangs (Salisbury, NC) and the visiting Carson Cougars (China Grove, NC), saw East Rowan's volleyball squad beat Carson by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, East Rowan upgrades its record to 8-0 on the year. The Mustangs host Oak Grove (Winston-Salem, NC) to play the Grizzlies in a non-league bout on Thursday, September 1. The Grizzlies go into the bout with a record of 2-5. Oak Grove lost 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Randleman (Randleman, NC)

The Cougars now own a 7-2 record. They play next when they travel to Central Davidson for a non-league bout on Thursday, September 1. Carson will play a Spartans squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over West Davidson (Lexington, NC). The Spartans record now stands at 1-6.
