North Carolina High School Volleyball - Topsail over Dixon

The Topsail Pirates (Hampstead, NC) volleyball overcame the visiting Dixon Bulldogs (Holly Ridge, NC), 3-0 in Wednesday's non-league outing.

With the win, Topsail betters its record to 5-1 on the year. The Pirates travel to Hoggard (Wilmington, NC) to face the Vikings in a Mideastern 3A/4A outing on Thursday, September 1. The Vikings go into the outing with a record of 4-5. Hoggard lost 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against J.H. Rose (Greenville, NC)

The Bulldogs now sport a 4-3 record. They play next when they host Southwest Onslow for a non-league outing on Thursday, September 1. Dixon will face a Stallions squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Swansboro (Swansboro, NC). The Stallions record now stands at 2-3.
