In Wednesday's non-league battle, the visiting Ragsdale Tigers volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the High Point Central Bison.
The Tigers (3-2) will now prepare for their battle against Page (Greensboro, NC). The Pirates come into the Metro 4A battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Page lost by Southwest Guilford (High Point, NC), 3-2, in a league battle.
Next, the Bison clash with the Eastern Guilford Wildcats (Gibsonville, NC) in a Mid-State 3A battle, on Thursday, September 1. High Point Central will attempt to advance on its 1-3 season record. The Wildcats come into the battle with a 1-6 record after their 3-0 league win over Northeast Guilford (McLeansville, NC).
