South Carolina High School Volleyball - South Pointe can't hold off Rock Hill

In Wednesday's non-league battle, the host Rock Hill Bearcats volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the South Pointe Stallions.
The Bearcats (2-5) will now prepare for their battle against Northwestern (Rock Hill, SC). The Trojans come into the non-league battle with a 2-2 record. In their last battle, Northwestern was edged by Fort Mill (Fort Mill, SC), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Stallions encounter the Catawba Ridge Copperheads (Fort Mill, SC) in a AAAA Region 3 battle, on Tuesday, September 6. South Pointe will attempt to advance on its 0-3 season record. The Copperheads come into the battle with a 5-5 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Clover (Clover, SC).
