Michigan High School Football - Cabrini drops to Parkway Christian

August 31, 2023: Allen Park, MI 48101

In Thursday's non-league game, the Parkway Christian Eagles (Sterling Heights, MI) football team knocked off the host Cabrini Monarchs (Allen Park, MI), by a final score of 50-21.

The Eagles (2-0) will now prepare for their game against Mt. Clemens (Mt. Clemens, MI). The Battling Bathers come into the non-league game with a 0-2 record. In their last game, Mt. Clemens was dropped by Gabriel Richard (Ann Arbor, MI), 49-14, in a non-league game.

The Monarchs now hold a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lakeview for a non-league game on Friday, September 8. Cabrini will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 49-7 non-league loss to Saugatuck (Saugatuck, MI). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-2.

Parkway Christian

Congratulations to #23 Kyler Maiorana (overall), #5 Dj Quest (offensive), #0 Zaheem Cannon (defensive) and #55 Mark Nesler jr. (special teams) for being selected the Parkway Christian Football Players of the Game.
