The Altoona Mountain Lions soccer team scored 4 points and limited the visiting Hollidaysburg Golden Tigers to 2 in the Mountain Lions non-league victory on Thursday.

Next, the Mountain Lions face the Shikellamy Braves (Sunbury, PA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 2. Altoona will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Braves enter the contest with a 2-0 record after their 7-1 non-league win over East Juniata (McAlisterville, PA).

The Golden Tigers now have a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Westmont Hilltop for a Laurel Highlands contest on Tuesday, September 5. Hollidaysburg will face a Hilltoppers team coming off a 5-1 non-league loss to Conemaugh Township (Davidsville, PA). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 0-1.
