The Northridge Grizzlies softball team scored 14 runs and limited the host Severance Silver Knights to 10 in the Grizzlies non-league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Northridge moves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Grizzlies travel to Niwot (Niwot, CO) to clash with the Cougars in a non-league game on Tuesday, September 19. The Cougars come into the game with a record of 1-2.

In their next game, the Silver Knights clash with the Berthoud Spartans (Berthoud, CO) in a non-league game, on Saturday, September 2. Severance will attempt to move on its 1-4 season record. The Spartans come into the game with a 1-0 record after their 4-4 non-league Silver Creek (Longmont, CO).
