The Auburn Eagles volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Galax Maroon Tide to 1 in the Eagles non-league victory on Thursday.

The Eagles now have a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Giles for a non-league game on Tuesday, September 5. Auburn will meet a Spartans team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Grayson County (Independence, VA). The Spartans record now stands at 4-0.

The Maroon Tide (2-1) will now prepare for their game against George Wythe (Wytheville, VA). The Maroons enter the non-league game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, George Wythe held off Rural Retreat (Rural Retreat, VA), 2-0, in a non-league game.
