The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Person Rockets (Roxboro, NC) and the visiting Falls Lake Firebirds (Creedmoor, NC), saw Person's volleyball squad nip Falls Lake by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Person upgrades its record to 3-3 on the year. The Rockets travel to Roxboro Community (Roxboro, NC) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Friday, September 1. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 5-0. Roxboro Community won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Vance Charter (Henderson, NC)
