The Rams (4-6) will now prepare for their battle against North Buncombe (Weaverville, NC). The Black Hawks come into the non-league battle with a 0-5 record. In their last battle, North Buncombe was edged by A.C. Reynolds (Asheville, NC), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Titans clash with the Freedom Patriots (Morganton, NC) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, September 6. McDowell will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record. The Patriots come into the battle with a 1-7 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Mountain Heritage (Burnsville, NC).
