West Virginia High School Soccer - Chapmanville Regional overwhelmed by Mingo Central

The Mingo Central Miners smashed the visiting Chapmanville Regional Tigers soccer squad by a margin of 6-1 in Thursday's non-league match.

The Miners now sport a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Bluefield for a Coalfield AA match on Saturday, September 2. Mingo Central will encounter a Beavers squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Mercer Christian Academy (Princeton, WV). The Beavers record now stands at 2-2.

With the loss, Chapmanville Regional drops to 3-2 on the season. The Tigers host Nitro (Nitro, WV) to encounter the Wildcats in a Cardinal match on Saturday, September 2. The Wildcats come into the match with a record of 5-0. Nitro won 8-1 in their recent league match against Hoover (Clendenin, WV)
