The Nitro Wildcats soccer team scored 8 points and limited the visiting Hoover Huskies to 1 in the Wildcats league victory on Thursday.

Next, the Wildcats face the Chapmanville Regional Tigers (Chapmanville, WV) in a Cardinal contest, on Saturday, September 2. Nitro will attempt to better on its 5-0 season record. The Tigers enter the contest with a 3-2 record after their 6-1 non-league loss to Mingo Central (Matewan, WV).

The Huskies now have a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Elkins for a Big Ten contest on Saturday, September 2.
