In Thursday's league battle, the host Mount Abram Roadrunners soccer squad scored a close 4-0 triumph over the Maranacook Black Bears.
The Roadrunners (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Mountain Valley (Rumford, ME). The Falcons come into the Class C - South battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Mountain Valley by Monmouth Academy (Monmouth, ME), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
The Black Bears (0-1) will now prepare for their battle against Hall-Dale (Farmingdale, ME). The Bulldogs come into the Class C - South battle with a 2-0 record. In their last battle, Hall-Dale nudged Waynflete (Portland, ME), 3-1, in a league battle.
