In Thursday's non-league battle, the host Newman Fighting Cardinals soccer squad scored a good 10-0 win over the Tri-County Penguins.
The Fighting Cardinals (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Wisconsin Valley Lutheran (Mosinee, WI). The Wolves go into the non-league battle with a 0-0 record.
The Penguins (0-2) will now prepare for their battle against Amherst (Amherst, WI). The Falcons go into the non-league battle with a 2-2 record. In their last battle, Amherst was overwhelmed by Columbus Catholic (Marshfield, WI), 1-0, in a non-league battle.
