Southeast Alamance Stallions (Haw River, NC) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Southern Alamance Patriots (Graham, NC), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Stallions confront the North Moore Mustangs (Robbins, NC) in a Mid-Carolina 1A/2A challenge, on Tuesday, September 5. Southeast Alamance will attempt to better on its 6-1 season record. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 4-2 league win over Northwood (Pittsboro, NC).

The Patriots now have a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Williams for a Central 3A challenge on Wednesday, September 6. Southern Alamance will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Grimsley (Greensboro, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-3.
