The Clayton Greyhounds softball team scored 41 runs and limited the host Hazelwood East Spartans to 0 in the Greyhounds non-league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Clayton moves its record to 1-1 on the year. The Greyhounds travel to Jennings (Jennings, MO) to clash with the Warriors in a non-league game on Monday, September 11. The Warriors come into the game with a record of 1-0.

In their next game, the Spartans clash with the McCluer North Stars (Florissant, MO) in a Class 4 District 6 game, on Tuesday, September 5. Hazelwood East will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
