Colorado High School Softball - Fountain-Fort Carson bounces Rampart

Fountain-Fort Carson Trojans (Fountain, CO) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Rampart Rams (Colorado Springs, CO), 19-4 in a league challenge.

The Trojans now own a 3-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Vista Ridge for a 5A/4A CSML challenge on Tuesday, September 5. Fountain-Fort Carson will face a Wolves squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Discovery Canyon (Colorado Springs, CO). The Wolves record now stands at 4-5.

With the loss, Rampart falls to 0-10 on the campaign. The Rams host Coronado (Colorado Springs, CO) to face the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Friday, September 1. The Cougars enter the challenge with a record of 3-7. Coronado lost 28-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Pine Creek (Colorado Springs, CO)
